Cycle 2024, No. 27: The Multiverse, 2024

Description: This work is composed of three boards attached together like a triptych, the three boards are hinged together so different shapes can be made. All three boards are painted black. Placed in the surface of each board is a series of nails, hanging from each nail is an ornament. Mounted in the top right corner of the center panel is a large wooden bucket carrier placed diagonally.
Meaning: This piece is the twenty seventh in my 2024 cycle of works based on the two artists I consider to be my greatest inspirations: Robert Rauschenberg and Emilio Vedova. The piece represents the Multiverse, a hypothetical set of separate universes.
