Description: The work is composed of a couple layers, the back layer is a 2' x 4' board painted black. Placed on either side of the back are a series of red and orange-painted pieces with a series of curves cut out of them that are layered over each other. Placed in the top left corner of the back is a piece shaped like a abstracted 'T' that is separate from the other curved pieces.

Meaning: This piece is the fifteenth in my Wood Construction series, a series of pieces made from scrap wood I bring home from work. This piece was heavily inspired by the Futurism movement, which was popular in Italy from 1910 to 1915. The curved pieces are meant to represent the fires of hell with the 'T' shaped piece representing the Devil overlooking it.
