My name is John H. Bernbaum. I'm an inspiring artist from Frederick, Maryland. I became interested in art after I took a drawing class at the first university I went to study architecture. While I ultimately left the university after only a semester it inspired me to continue doing research on art and to, eventually, start to create my own.

In terms of the style I practice, most of my earliest works were inspired by the Fluxus,  Nouveau Realisme, and the American version of the Pop Art movements (think Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns).

 

Since then I've started creating different series' of works which I have separated throughout this site. ​
