Cycle 2024, No. 2: Fallen Angels, 2024

Description: The board is painted white. At the top center is a broken wood circle painted black, other black paint splatters are inside the circle; more black paint pours down the edges of the wood circle and sporadically down the rest of the board.

Meaning: This piece is the second in my 2024 cycle of works based on the two artists I consider to be my greatest inspirations: Robert Rauschenberg and Emilio Vedova. The piece's direct interpretation is up to the viewer.
